Perspective

Today. Out of the blue, Esme said 'when you draw a picture of things near to you they are big. When you draw things far away, they are little'. (She was actually in the bath at the time, but had had a day of feverish, frenetic drawing. It was difficult to get her to stop.)

Esme sat for an hour and a half working on this all by herself. 'There are lots of numbers because lots of people live here'.

Every wall in the house is slowly becoming covered in paper. I came home yesterday to find a series of 'hello' notes on the wall. But, where  on earth is she getting the blue tac?! I'm not providing it. Think there may be illicit playground deals going on!

Oh...and paper chains festooned everywhere too!
